UX Recorder is an iOS app that records on-screen activity and gestures along with video from the front facing camera (and audio). It is intended to replace a document camera for recording user testing sessions of mobile Web sites.
Things you should know
- UX Recorder cannot be used to perform screen recording in another iOS app — it acts as a web browser and can only be used to record Web sites.
- UX Recorder works only on iOS devices with a front-facing camera.
- UX Recorder is only supported on devices running iOS 5.0 and up.
- Recording user testing sessions via UX Recorder is very processor intensive, and we recommend that you only do screen recording when plugged into a power source.
